How to choose a good reference photo

You will need to provide a good quality digital photo. Avoid choosing a photo that is blurry, overexposed or underexposed. Skin tones and hair colour should be realistic (i.e. not too pale, too intense, altered or filtered). The best results for a 10x10 portrait would be the head with top of shoulders. If your photo includes more than this, I will crop it to fit size and format. You may wish to send me 2 or 3 photos, and I can assess which is most suitable for a portrait.
